MIE Solutions will be exhibiting and presenting at FABTECH in Atlanta

David Ferguson the President of MIE Solutions will be presenting two educational seminars at FABTECH November 2nd, 2010.

1.   10:30 am -12:30 pm in room B304 – The topic of the presentation is Job Shop Scheduling – Myth versus Reality.  The presentation will cover the variables needed to schedule a job shop and estimate the time to produce a part.  Indentify different operations or work centers and whether they should be set-up in a work cell format or individual work center by machine type.

2.   1:30 pm – 3:30 pm in room B301 – The topic of the presentation is Estimating – Made to Order Manufacturing. The presentation will cover request for quote management, material needs, operations time and large assembly estimating.
