Step #2: Planning and Decisions
A large part of the implementation will be planning and making decisions. Most decisions will not be difficult. Some may have already been made. This section outlines your decision points and provides some recommendations and guidelines.
All the decisions described in this section are accompanied by several questions:
- Is it a requirement?
- Can it be accomplished?
- Will there be a price associated with it?
- Do we want it now or can we do it later?
- After the initial implementation, what do you want to add in the future?
With your involvement, your MIE representative will help you answer these questions.
Note that some of the options in this section (integrations, customization, and add-ons) have a cost associated with them.
Also, all implementation choices do not have to made immediately. You may want to implement some modules or features now and defer other integrations and customizations to later. We recommend that you first implement the essential MIE Trak Pro modules and then defer as much as possible to after the go live phase.
MIE Trak Pro can integrate with some third-party software applications that you are currently using. Integrations break into two main categories:
- Out-of-the-box integrations provided free of charge
- Additional integrations with an associated cost
